Lyric Opera Studio Weimar

Heading to Weimar this summer as an opera répétiteur apprentice at Lyric Opera Studio Weimar (playing Mozart’s Don Giovanni). I can’t get over the beauty of Mozart’s opera writing…he was really at his best in this medium! Here’s a great rendition of the opera from Zurich in 2001:

Midi en Musique in Quebec City

It’s my first time playing in Quebec this week with soprano Sandra Bender as part of the Midi en Musique series at Cathédrale Holy Trinity. Such a cool program too! Works by Alma Mahler, Clara Schumann, Wagner, Kurt Weill, and others. Very lush music and such beautiful harmonies…I’m looking forward to it!
